STEP-BY-STEP
Start with Pranamasana
Stand upright, feet together, back straight, hands together at your chest, look forward.
- Back bend
Lift arms over your head, palms facing each other, hips forward, arch back.
- Forward fold
Dive down, hands to the floor or ankles.
- Half forward fold
Come up halfway, hands on knees, back flat.
- Chaturanga
Feet back, toes tuck, lower knees, chin and chest on the floor, hips high, elbows in.
- Upward dog
Untuck toes, hips forward, bend at waist, lift chest, arms straight.
- Downward dog
Tuck toes, hips up and push back, keep back straight, hands on the ground, fingers spread.
- Forward fold
Feet together, hands to the floor or ankles.
- Half forward fold
Come up halfway, hands on knees, back flat.
- Back bend
Lift arms over your head, palms facing each other, hips forward, arch back.
